Lackis and Rachel - ellocolupus@shaw.ca of Aldergrove, British Columbia, Canada
Hey David,
Saw you yesterday at Deer Lake and had a chance to briefly chat. Great set man..... way to shred a guitar up and your band is super tight. You were mentioning some new strings that work for you and they are cheap but because of past drug use I can't remember the name of them... ahahahah. Do they make them for 5 string or upright bass? Can I get them in the lower mainland? If you would be so kind as to e-mail me the name that would be great... cheap is good. Once again great show... way better than Ike and the Tina wanna be... ahahaha... rock on and... gogo habs gogo
Take care and be free, Lackis and Rachel
Ralph Belvedere - r_belvedere@hotmail.com of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
What a fabulous show he put on at Ship Point in Victoria. We got right up front to get a good dose of Gogo. I now know why he is so good at the blues... he is a Habs fan...they all sing the blues. Keep on Rock'n, Ralph
Robert Daoust - rob_daoust@hotmail.com of Masson-Angers, Quebec, Canada
David... looking forward to your tour dates out east... Crusade goes on... Keep us updated with GOGO notes from the road. Adios #10... Robert
Richain - psteward@shaw.ca of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Now, Ive heard a HELL of a lot more things in my time, than you Mr. Gogo but I have to agree with that David Lovesend fella from Port MacNeil BC............you do have a LOT of Trooper in your music.
You know, you should think about doing a cover of See Forever Eyes by Vancouver's Prism. With an Otis Rush type of treatment I think you could really do something with this number.
Huh, I still remember the times you & Chicken Snack Jr. opened up for me in Calgary @ the King Eddie back in 1989........shoot, that was some times hey "'Lil Goot". Peace and Love Brother, Richain
Addy Nijenboer - Lafeve@home.nl of Zwolle, Netherlands
David... I bought a lot of albums this year. Most are just average but a couple are excellent. Skeleton Key is one of my 3 favourite albums this year. Addy
Guff - mmcguff@mail.island.net of Prague, Czech Republic
No other way of communicating with you, but condolences on Uncle Ken. I met a man quite recently making a documentary about a film I'm in whose most recent work was on a documentary about Brother XII that he filmed in Nanaimo. We were trading stories about Ken sitting in a makeshift tent cantina outside a small farm in central Bohemia. I still remember the roof leaking on us while sitting on his couch drinking beer after the 'Grafix' gig at Beban arena when we were maybe fifteen. Visit me out here if you can. -Guff

Nick - bentersn@hotmail.com of Surrey, England
First time caller. I heard Reap What you Sow on Electric Blues Radio on Live 365 & loved it. I just wanted to say I liked it & I will be looking out for your stuff if it's available in the UK.
Dennis Marcenko - dmarcenko@yahoo.com of shut up, I said shut up
Well what can I say...Where do I start..I guess I may as well start by saying that your music, whether live or recorded, is pretty much as close to perfect as music can get...I used to think that Mozart was pretty good and that Bach knew a thing or two and well maybe the Beatles were able to string a melody or two together but Hot Dang...."You the Man!!!!" I've smashed all of my records, tapes, Cd's and even the collection of rare 78's I used to hold so dear and now all I listen to is DAVID GOGO!! That's all I'm ever going to listen to for the rest of my life....Do ya think you'd consider letting me move over to Nanaimo closer to where you live so I can sit in the ditch close to your house and watch you drive by? Would you wave to me as I sit there in the rain?? Would you ever stop and offer me a hot dog or a bowl of soup or anything?? You could just throw it out the window and I'd run over, pick it up and eat it?? That would mean sooooo much to me David Gogo? Do you have a girlfriend?? Do you have a goat?? Now that you have my e-mail address you could write to me couldn't you?? I know you're a pretty busy guy and all so I'll just sit here staring at the screen until you write back. I know you answer all of your e-mails...I just know it..
Shiley-Shylow - Somewhere in Canada
Mr. Gogo....way to go on the awards! Tres exciting! Maybe next year the ballot will arrive on time and I can say I had something to do with it ;) Good stuff big guy....
a HUGE Mike Reno fan - cookle@spsd.sk.ca of The Toon, Saskatchewan, Canada
Longtime listener, first time caller - love you show... David, it's the praries on line two... I can't find your email adress (except the fake one on the Canadiens Card), and I'm not near my adress book, so before I forget....I'm getting married! Yes, Dave, I'm making the reception playlists. I'm trying to choose between "Baby Blue" and "I Believe" for the obligatory Chilliwack dance. Obviously I need your help. Really, I'll give you a call in the next little bit, but doesn't it seem like time for a little western swing? Showing up in Toon Town on April 19th will garner you all the wine you can drink and a fine down-home hoe-down. It's also and excuse to wear a suit, which should be reason enough in itself. Bring the whole family. Bring Rick if you can snag him with a netted booby trap. Apparently you could easily get Dennis to come with little more than a road sausage. Promise them all a shot of JACK DANIELS! (cackelcackelcackel) smell you later - the bride (and I have specifically pointed out that I at no time "rock and roll(ed)", and so saying that you knew me when I did is a moot point p.s. your making the pages of The Star Pheonix with you Guitarist of The Year smack down. With all these awards, it's like you're staging a hostile takeover of the music industry.
Matt Sobb - mattsobb@hotmail.com of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

I've been going to your shows since you major label debut and when I was living in Nanaimo I had the chance to see you twice at The Queens. Hi David... I have seen you three times now and just lately at the JBI acoustic nite.. I was in the front row .. it was awesome man. David. You are one of the best acoustic shows I have ever seen. I left the show with a handful of ballots and proceeded to promote your nomination all over Victoria at my shows and Toronto were I am from... (14 yrs here) I am a strugling musician (49) here in Victoria and would very much like to talk to you personally. I have written a lot of tunes and would be honoured if you would critgue a few of them sometime... I appreciate how busy you are and you probably get asked for help a lot... Iam stuck at the moment with my musical life and would really appreciate your opinion and point of view... I am chasing a dream that may not be realistic. Your expertise would be an inpsiration and a reality check for me. I was hoping you would grant me a small personal wish. You dont know me from spit but Ii have the utmost respect for your talent. If you dont have any time I understand. I'll look forward to your next show... thanks for your music and your ear.. Ritchie Mac 388 9301

Lori Schwartz - LoriS901@hotmail.com of Rensselaer Falls, NY, USA
I saw Gogo at The Rainbow in Ottawa earlier this year and was blown totally away. He is supremely talented and totaly mesmerized the audience at The Rainbow. He is right up there with the big dogs...and needs to bring his music to the states in a hurry. "It Dont Make Sense" was mind blowing live at the The Rainbow....better than any acid I ever did back in the day!

Kathy Dennison - wayoutwest@pacificcoast.net of Gabriola Island, B.C., Canada
Hi David, Recently danced all night to your tunes at the Benefit Concert for Jean McLaren on Gabe. You and your band were awesome, as usual! Saw (and heard) you for the first of several times on New Year's Eve, a few months ago and have since become a huge fan. I've been admiring your collection of guitars, especially the old ones, and, as I am an artist-a painter-I have some ideas that I would like to discuss with you. Do you read your own email? Do you ever answer any of it? Could you take a minute out of your busy schedule and answer this one? Hope to hear from you!
Roxanne Fields - roxy.f@rogers.com of Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Bev - bevzed@canada.com of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada
Hey David, just saw you again at the Jazz festival in Stoon. Man, you're sounding great. Havn't seen you in our town for awhile, if you show up!. I've driven alot of miles to not have you show up... anyway, that was a long time ago. Glad you did, you rocked the gardens. Never mind Sonny Rhodes and Downchild Blues... it was all David Gogo. Can't wait to see you in October. How come you don't do anything anymore off of (can't remember the name of the album-big fan eh?) Western Coast album. That's the best. Maybe I'll see you in BC sometime. Have a great summer. You have an awesome schedule out East. bz
