- Hey David,
Saw you yesterday at Deer Lake and had a chance to briefly chat.
Great set man..... way to shred a guitar up and your band is super
tight. You were mentioning some new strings that work for you and
they are cheap but because of past drug use I can't remember the
name of them... ahahahah. Do they make them for 5 string or upright
bass? Can I get them in the lower mainland? If you would be so kind
as to e-mail me the name that would be great... cheap is good. Once
again great show... way better than Ike and the Tina wanna be...
ahahaha... rock on and... gogo habs gogo

Port McNeill, British Columbia, Canada
- David, The only reason I listened to your music (and the first
time I ever heard your name) was when you were about to jam with
my brother-in-law on the Roland stage at the Vancouver Island
Music Fest (Bill Usher - precussionist and past Juno winner).
I am glad it happened. I was so impressed that I made the specific
effort to listen to you while on the Main Stage.
Having grown-up in the '70's and '80's, it was very easy for me to,
with much pleasure, recognize the Johnny Winter and Stevie
Ray Vaughan infulence in your music. Did you know that your music
is also reminiscent of Jerry Doucette and Trooper?
Regardless, your music is most uniquely your music, and I sincerely
hope you continue to make it. I wish you the very best of luck. David

- Hi David. I can't get the Skeleton Key CD I bought from
you and had you sign at the Bluesfest in Ottawa in July 2002 out
of my player. I keep hearing your songs on CHEZ 106 and I look forward
to your return in October. I wish you could have been at the main
stage at Bluesfest so more people could have been overwhelmed by
your music. Keep it up!
- Ron McKee - Ronsongs@shaw.ca of
Fort Mcmurray, Alberta, Canada
- Hey David, I left Nanaimo for work and before I arrived I heard Personal
Jesus on the radio. The song is all over the radio up here.
People are diggin' it. It would be nice to see you swing by on your
next trip through Edmonton. There is a blues pub up here called
Minglers. I'm sure you would kill there. Anyway, keep it happening
and say hi to Peter and Joe for me. Ron

It was great to see so many people come out to for ya. Of course
I was one of them as always. The new material sounded perfect live,

Crying is my new fav track, and Personal Jesus just rocks.
Ah hell, they're all really good. Thanks, once again, for the autographs.
Talk to ya soon.

to know that you do not have any shows booked in the neglected northern
half of BC. We're all very sad about this....listening to the CD's
is only good for so long...we need some REAL Gogo up here. P.S. "The
Rouge" is a new restaurant in town that has live music...maybe
an idea????

on my feeling and appreciation, for the whole OUTSTANDING production

I am forever finding it difficult to fine your mix. I will be looking
into your tours dates. Thanks again for this overwelming CD.

- David, I had the pleasure of being in your guitar workshop at
the 2002 Hornby Island Blues Camp. I want to say that you
did a great job and your preparation to teach that workshop was evident.
Thank you. My question is about the Ibanez pedals that you
favour. What model? Is it the Tube Screamer? Where can I get
more info about the pedal? Thank you.

I'm still living large in Kits, getting ready to go back to Japan

then heads back to the mountains, tail wagging and such. Anyhow,
nice site. Glad you're doing yer thang. I think I'll listen to the
Rude Mood demo for kicks. "Shake It, Babe". Laters!

- Dave, ya may not remember me, I hung with Mike Walsh, Andrew Scott,
and Quentin Stewart.
I moved from Gabriola a couple years ago to this volumous metropolis
known as Toronto. I was checkin out the Toronto Sun on Friday when
I saw yur name highlited in the entertainment section.
I thought, "Holy shit... that's a blast from the past!!" The
last time I saw you, was at a Sunday jam at The Surf Lodge on Gabe.
Needless to say, I was surprised to see you were playin at Jeff Healy`s
on Bathurst, and was most disappointed to miss the show, due to employment
reasons. But if yur in town again, e-mail me. Lemme know and I'll
pack the place with my budz rest assured.
Anyway Dave gotta fly "Rock On man". Say hi to Gord and
Connie for me...

I saw you twice more at the Rainbow, and I loved the shows! I must
admit I am a music fan and lover... your amazing guitar playing gets
inside me and takes over!!! THE DANCING WITCH who unfortunately for
her would have turned into a pumpkin if she didn't leave by midnight.
I had a blast! Thank you.

- David I've been listening to your CDs all summer. One of your
biggest fans turned me on to you :):):) You performed in the little
town of Brechin, Ontario a few weeks ago and just blew my mind with
your talent. You can tell you love what you do... I also came down
to see you in Toronto, at Healey's bar.
