Murray Alberts - m.alberts@sk.sympatico.ca of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada
I paid good money to hear David at the Saskatoon Jazz Festival last weekend, along with Sonny Rhodes and Downchild Blues Band. I got much more than my money's worth. David was the highlight of the festival... tight band, great material, and what a stage presence.
Purchased Skeleton Key, and even as I type, my wife is listening to it upstairs, again. we will be keeping an eye on David's webpage for his next trip to ToonTown. Hopefully it will be sooner than later.
Derek - agentdekes2002@yahoo.ca of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada

Dave. Too bad you aint gonna be in the B.C. area next week since I booked a weeks vacation out there and hoped to see you again. Last time I saw ya was in Hamilton at that bar on King Street, can't remember the name, but it was just a small hole in the wall type place. I was buying you the single malt scotch that night and also had a few with you. That's the night you also took your guitar right out of the bar and went and played on King st., then came back in, took a shot glass off a girls table and used it as a slide bar. Real impressive showmanship. You rock man. I'll have a few scotch's in your honor while I'm in B.C. THA DOGG.

Hello Mr.Gogo. I have just seen your performance at the MT.Tramblant blues festival(Sunday night), And I must say that I was truly blown away. I had brought my fourteen year old son to get a taste of the blues and you did not disappoint us. I bought your CD and my son has not stop playing it. The late show at The Shack was a true Blues MAN playing and enjoying himself and got the rest of the crowd all geared up for a great party. We will be back to see you again Wednesday night. Hope that we may get a chance to meet and chat. Best of luck to you and your band. Pierre

Charlie Vanya - valourius@sympatico.ca of Tottenham, Ontario, Canada
David: Saw you last night for the first time at the Toronto BluesFest. You surpassed any expectations that I or my friends had. I think you should have headlined that night! Loved the show but I think the sound guy forgot to crank your guitar up for the first couple of songs.
I was hoping to talk to you at the autograph booth but I got held up in the beer line....hehe.
Just wanted to say that I enjoy the blues because of you. You released an album (the name escapes me) about 10 or 15 years ago that had a screaming rendition of "It's My Own Fault". Ever since I heard that song on Q107 I was into the blues. I remember buying the casette and listening to it in my first (used) car, a 1972 Chrysler Newport.
Hope to hear from you David. Charlie

Juliet Wilson - julietwilson@hotmail.com of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
hello Dave! Finally I have found a way to contact you myself! Unfortunately Alison Matthews and I lost touch when we both moved two years ago. She was the one who would always update me as to what you were up to! I was disappointed to miss your gig in Melbourne (last year?) - would love to know if you are coming back. If there is anything I can do to help bring you back to Oz let me know. Love to have a good long chat - email me? If you know where Alison is could you either pass on my email address or let me know her details? XXOO Juliet

Darryll Holland - dholland@golden.net of Elmira, Ontario, Canada
OK we arrive early and we're waiting patiently at the Old Roxy Theatre in Mount Forest Ont., for David Wilcox to peform when out comes this guy and his band as the warm up act. Now we've got to sit through this guy before the "bad apple" appears. From the very first song David Gogo performed we knew we were in for a treat. Who is this guy and why have we not heard of him before? David Gogo was simply amazing, not only can he play and play very well, he has a great voice too. We we disappointed when his set was over, albeit we did come for Wilcox and were excited to hear him perform, we would have liked to have heard more of David Gogo. As I understand David is from the west and plays primarily out there, If he ever comes to a venue near you, don't miss this guy. He is destin for great things.
Aleksandar Ilic - Ilic.co@wanadoo.nl of Sittard, Holland
Dear mister Gogo !!! Could you please help us out with the lyrics to "You Belong To Me"? We want to play that one but the second line we can't get. So if it's not that much to ask... (Ed: Consider it done!) Lots of greetings from Holland. What we can say... Stevie is reborn - fortunately

Lisa Masters - mastersbaby@telus.net of Campbell River, British Columbia, Canada
My husband and I saw David Gogo for the very first time on August 16/03 when he opened up for George Thorogood & the Destroyers at the Royal Theatre in Victoria! We were totally BLOWN away by his performance! Usually when you go to a concert you can't wait for the "opening act" to get the hell off the stage but not David -- he rocked the place! We will definately be following his music from now on! He was "the" perfect opening act for a band like George Thorogood! AWESOME job David! Glad to hear you're a fellow BC'er! Keep on rockin!
Carrie Graham - cgraham_rmt@yahoo.ca of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
Hello David! I'm disappointed that I missed you and east coast band on the Ottawa Blues Cruise, however I am looking forward to seeing you at the "good old" Rainbow in November!! Steve Joordens - joordens@psych.utoronto.ca of Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Hi David, my wife and I caught you (twice) and the blues fest in Toronto and are looking forward to your upcoming show at Healey's. If you would like, I would happy to film a little bit of you playing, then convert it to a form you could put on this site ... since part of the fun of you is your live style, this could show fans that there is more to your show than fantastic music. If you're interested you know where to reach me. And no, I'm not looking for money, I just like to help promote great music if I can.
Mark Regenwetter - markregenwetter@shaw.ca of Prince George, British Columbia, Canada
Hi David! Sorry I missed you at Rivers day, had to work. Any chance you could get me into the show on the 17? Its sold out. Drop me a line. djMark.

Caught the River Day show and was very impressed. David would be very welcome at the Stan Rogers Folk Festival in Canso, Nova Scotia or the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival in Fredericton, New Brunswick. It would be a real treat for the blues hungry East Coasters. Looking forward to the next show. Peace.

Wicked show last night with George Thorogood. Great show at Rivers Day concert as well. Told my wife to pay attention cause the future of Canadian blues guitar was about to destroy the place, and we sure weren't dissapointed. Hope you're comin' back soon.

CAUGHT YOUR SHOW IN KELOWNA WITH THOROGOOD AND I WAS KNOCKED OUT!!! As an aspiring blues guitar player myself hearing you and seeing you for the first time was the highlight of the show I would have bought all your cd's but could only afford Live At Deer Lake but what a treat. Can't wait to see you at the Yale in Jan. Stay healthy!

Thanks for the great show at Outlaws last Sunday. You made a new fan by blowing me away with your amazing guitar style. I loved your version of This Is A Man's World. Though George Thorogood was excellent as always, your performance was very memorable and I hope you make it back to Calgary in the near future. Keep on Rockin!

Hey David: That was very cool of you and your whole band to come check out the Troy Harmer Band at the Sandbar in Dunneville after your show at Reader's on November 14, 2003. It was an honour to have successful musician's that I admire listening to us and digging our set. It was an awesome treat to have you and your band sit in and play a few songs. You guys rocked!!!!!!! It is too bad I didn't have two guitar amps available because I would have loved to play some songs together. I hope you enjoyed our set as much as we enjoyed yours. Check out my website sometime and leave me a message if you get a chance. Keep up the great music and best of luck in your future endeavors. I hope to come out and hear you guys live next time you play southern Ontario. Thanks for supporting the little guys. Troy Harmer - www.troyharmer.com

I just came back from listening to Live 365 (EB Radio 56) imagine my surprise to find you listed on the major play list. I have never heard you do the blues medley...on Halfway to Memphis but it was awesome. When it said buy I clicked on it. You are a real hit in Florida because that was the only place that I could find it. Anyway keep playing the great tunes!!

Hey David! Got GREAT news!!! We just came across a radio station here in Winnipeg - I think it's brand new. Red River Community College..... they are in the "test" mode. Anyway, every 3rd song is DAVID GOGO! They are located at 92.9 FM Spreading the word!
Layla - layla@layla.ca of Coombs, B.C., Canada
The first time I saw David Gogo play I was blown away..I met him at the Hornby Island Blues workshop as he was instucting there, and heard him play during the teacher concert..I almost fell in love with him just from listening to his playing and watching the blurr of his fingers as he played...Having met him and had the time to get to know him a little I can tell you that he is one of the kindest and gentlest egos I've met in music lately.. He supports others in their endeavours to find themselves musically even though his life is full with his own music and his family, somehow he even finds time for friends and maybe a little hockey! One of the greatest nights I've had in the last few years was when I walked into the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, B.C. and saw David Gogo in the spotlight on stage..David put on a great performance and was followed by Little Feat, another of my favorite bands! David Gogo will always ho
Jane Archer - wearchers@hotmail.com of Ontario, Canada
Hi David... I just called the Merchant Macliam in Kingston to book tickets for your show on Jan. 24 and they told me it was cancelled! No! No!! I was planning to take my guitar playin' son who turns 20 that weekend out to see you along with the rest of my family - 4 boys - 3 of them in their own band called Scrap Metal. My family are so disappointed - we are all major fans of yours. Please come to our area again soon. Peterborough is best and I don't think you've ever played there. The Market Hall is a great venue - they serve drinks AND you can take your underage kids too! Take care and hope to see you play again very soon...Jane
Ellie Walker - petgirlgroomer@yahoo.com of Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada
hey David thought I would sign your guestbook. Thanks for giving me the guitar pick on New Years Eve this year, I also have the picture from last year as well. I really enjoyed you playing. I listen to you all the time now. Hope you have a great year and see you around town, I will come and listen to you when you are playing in town. From your friend... always - Ellie
Paul Willms - thetaximan@hotmail.com of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
Hey Dave... I saw you at the Central Bar & Grill. Nicely done. Lots of balls. Too bad about the electrical problems but shit happens and it was still a great show. I am currently looking to play out east and was wondering if you had any advice about headin out that way. Cheers... www.thetaximan.com
Nancy - nlorimer@cityofkingston.ca of Kingston, Ontario, Canada
Very sad and disappointed. For the second time David was booked to play in Kingston and seems to have cancelled out again...is it something we're doing wrong? Please reconsider...can't always make it to Ottawa or Toronto due to weather and late January was looking a whole lot nicer when I thought Dave was coming to Kingston!
Ed note: Nancy, this and previous cancellations were not Gogo's doing. The club there seems to have a hard time setting and maintaining dates. David hopes to play in Kingston at least once this year...we are currently looking for a venue.
John - nancy.john@sasktel.net of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada
Heard you at the Blues Garden during last summer's Sask Tel Jazz Festival in Saskatoon. You kick ass. Hope to see you back in Saskatoon soon.
Travis Preston - preston_travis@hotmail.com of Greensboro, North Carolina (used to be Nanaimo), USA
Hey man, I usually see you once or twice a year ever since you played our high school grad with The Persuaders (way back in '89). I've been a big fan of your music for quite a while now. I just moved down to North Carolina to teach and while I'm having a great time down here, obviously you don't come through here often. And to top it off, I drove off with Skeleton Key on the roof of my car and lost it! Keep up the great work. And say hi to your dad for me. I worked for him last year and he used to enjoy watching me play lacrosse.
Roy Ludlow - iamsixstringer@hotmail.com of Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada
Hey David, I saw you open for Buddy Guy in Vancouver a couple years ago, and I saw you do an acoustic set in Kamloops at the Grind a few years ago. I just saw you this past weekend in Kamloops at the Blues Underground....you're always on your game.......an excellent show as anyone who's ever seen you play well knows...keep on playing............Roy

Jay Euringer - jjmail@sympatico.ca of Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Dave... how goes? Nice site. It looks like I'm going to miss you both ways - I'm in Kingston on Friday and Toronto on Wednesday. Maybe I can catch the solo show at the Phoenix. Are you hanging in TO for a while or gone after the Healey's show? Are you touring with the dynamic duo? (Todd and Billy) or an Ontario band? Drop me a line if you've got time to hang. If not, have a great tour. Take care impregnator... Jay Euringer
PS does your dad still have a copy of the filthy moris collage?
Jay-Bob - of Exotic Harewood,
Congrats on the JUNO nomination. If you win, you should buy your "real" band dinner. Brennen will settle for a sausage roll. Steve wants chocolate and ginger. Jay would be happy just to sit at the adult table.
Nancy - nlorimer@cityofkingston.ca of Kingston, Ontario, Canada
I just wanted to say thanks to David for squeezing in a visit to Kingston. We had been looking forward to seeing him here in Kingston a couple of times but the gigs were cancelled so we made sure we were there to see him open for Blackie & The Rodeo Kings. His set was short but very sweet!!!
Robert Stanley - jackthetoad@hotmail.com of Barrie, Ontario, Canada
David: I was at the show at the Phoenix in Toronto recently. I just wanted to say thanks for the incredible rendition of Louisiana Blues. What a way to start a show. Up to this point Savoy Brown had the best cover but I have to say I am now rethinking that one. I see you have played with many excellent guitar players and I just want to say you rightly deserve to be in their company. Looking forward to seeing you again... a new fan
Joe Wiseman - bands@warp.nfld.net of Stephenville, Newfoundland, Canada
Caught David at Healey's on Friday night. I was blown away!! This guy has techniques to die for and a soul to match! His best is yet to come!!! As promised Dave - authors of The Thrill is Gone are Roy Hawkins and Rick Darnell. The copyright is 1951 by Powerhouse Music. BB used to own it until you started to play it. Let's see what the future holds!! Your friend and Glenlivet toaster - Joe.
